Dan Gury, a native of Dearborn. MI, is the host of “Polka Radio”. He is the leader of Dan Gury & The DynaDukes, plays accordion & piano, is a songwriter, vocalist and producer. When he is not busy recording radio shows, he works at a Detroit casino as a dealer, and also has an income tax preparation business.

Dan is the writer of the popular “Pennsylvania Hills” polka recorded by numerous bands.

He also wrote and performed the music on the first Dodge Neon commercial, where the car unfolded like an accordion.

Dan has performed with numerous polka bands such as Orlando Polkamagic, The Polkadelics of Windsor Ontario, Chris Jack and Music, New Generation of the Detroit area & others.

Dan has hosted other polka radio shows in the past. One of the most popular shows he hosted was a 2-hour weekly polka show which aired from 6:00am-8:00am Monday-Friday over then station WIID 1040AM. It was the only morning show on that station that made the Arbitron ratings (a system that estimates listening audience).
