The Polka Celebration Radio Show originally started in February, 1987 over KSTL 690 AM (St. Louis, MO) on Saturdays from 2:30-3:30 p.m.  The show aired until August 6, 1994 when the station was sold and changed to an all gospel format. In November of 1994, the show began broadcasting from WINU/WCBW/WIJR 880 AM (Highland, IL). The radio station changed owners several times and in August, 2006, the station was sold again and their format changed to an all Hispanic format. The show was immediately moved to WEW 770 AM (St. Louis, MO) on Saturdays from 9:00-10:00 a.m. with no interruption in programming.  The show can be heard on the internet at www.wewradio.com.
